tito ortiz-1Jacob Christopher is an American mixed martial artist and politician. He is currently signed by Combate Americas. [2] Ortiz is most well-known for his time with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where he was an ex-UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, having been the champion since April 14th, 2000, until September 26, 2003. He was among the first stars of the sport alongside fighters such as Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Ortiz became the biggest pay-per-view draw in 2006 due to his bouts with Forrest Griffin, Ken Shamrock, and Liddell.
